For Partners — churches, businesses, and nonprofits

Your work, aimed where it is needed most.

Marion County As One gives participating institutions shared sight across community needs, services, capacity, opportunities, and results.

Partners can see documented community demand as patterns and counts, coordinate with other institutions, offer capacity, and have their performance recognized through the shared operating picture.

Each organization keeps its own identity, governance, programs, professional obligations, and authority. Marion County As One coordinates participating institutions; it does not absorb or replace them.

Why partner

See real demand

Respond to documented and reviewed community needs rather than relying only on assumptions. See where demand is growing and where capacity is thin before committing time, funding, or services.

Coordinate without unnecessary duplication

Understand where services overlap, where coordination would help, and where households or neighborhoods may still be underserved.

Results that count

Authorized service and outcome information can contribute to the shared record. Strong delivery can improve a partner's performance score and support a growing role in future community responses.

What this means for your organization

Churches

Churches can better understand the needs and strengths of the people who voluntarily choose to connect with their congregation through Marion County As One.

A member may authorize a church or pastoral leader to see specific information, participate in selected plans, provide pastoral support, or help coordinate chosen services. Within those permissions, pastoral leaders may raise concerns, recommend changes, and ask that a church-connected activity be paused or reconsidered.

Pastoral authority remains pastoral authority. It does not override the member's consent, create access to information the member has not authorized, control independent services, or allow a church to make every decision on a member's behalf.

Businesses

Businesses can see documented demand for services, products, jobs, training, and new capacity. They can respond to community opportunities, offer agreed capacity, and participate in building a stronger local workforce and economy.

Person-level introductions occur only when a resident chooses the business, independently contacts it, or authorizes the connection. A displayed community need does not allow a business to identify or directly solicit the households included in an aggregate count.

Nonprofits

Nonprofits can see where their mission and capacity align with documented community needs, coordinate with other institutions, reduce unnecessary reporting duplication, and demonstrate the outcomes their work produces.

Participation does not transfer the nonprofit's governance or programs to Marion County As One.

Foundations & funders — Foundations and funders begin through a direct conversation. They can review documented gaps, understand where other resources are already committed, and coordinate contributions on agreed terms. Funding participation does not give a funder blanket control over residents, service providers, churches, or the broader community operating picture. Start a conversation →

What you'll see as a partner

The partner view shows community-level needs, opportunities, service capacity, delivery activity, and partner performance. Aggregate opportunities do not reveal the names or identities of the households represented.

Person-level information is only shown when the person or responsible guardian has authorized the particular relationship or activity and the receiving organization has a permitted operational need.
