Marion County As One
A community that can increasingly sustain itself.
Marion County As One creates a shared picture of our community's needs, strengths, services, and capacity—so residents, churches, businesses, nonprofits, workforce participants, foundations, and other community institutions can see the same community and work with greater coordination.
It is not a new government agency and it does not replace the institutions already serving Marion County. It gives the community we already have a way to understand itself, strengthen what is working, and build what is still missing.
Participation is voluntary. Every person and organization keeps its own identity and authority and chooses how it participates.
What this means for you
For residents & households
Tell your story once—and stay in control of it. Families are often required to repeat the same information to multiple organizations while trying to navigate each service alone. Marion County As One is being built to reduce that burden.
You decide what information you share. Community-wide views use patterns and counts. Person-level information is only used within the connections and permissions you authorize.
For organizations
See real community needs, not guesswork. Participating institutions can see documented community patterns, service demand, available capacity, overlapping work, and unmet needs. Community-level views do not operate as a public directory of residents.
When person-level coordination is appropriate, the resident chooses the service, contacts the provider, or authorizes the connection. Partner delivery can then be measured so organizations that perform well can earn greater trust and a growing role in the community.
